You will lead detailed 2D and 3D design work: production-ready drawings, fabrication and shop drawings, revisions and quality checks, alongside our engineers and project managers. You will also mentor junior CAD designers. Two or more years of CAD experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Role overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior CAD Designer to lead detailed 2D and 3D engineering design work, produce accurate, production-ready drawings, and work with our engineering and project teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
Key responsibilities
- 01Create and review detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models.
- 02Develop manufacturing, fabrication and shop drawings to project requirements.
- 03Interpret engineering specifications, sketches and design concepts.
- 04Make sure drawings meet company, client and industry standards.
- 05Carry out design revisions, detailing and drawing quality checks.
- 06Coordinate with engineers, project managers and other designers.
- 07Support design optimisation, documentation and project deliverables.
- 08Mentor junior CAD designers and keep every drawing accurate.
Required skills & qualifications
- 012+ years of relevant CAD design experience.
- 02Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks and related 3D software.
- 03A good understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and GD&T.
- 04Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- 05The ability to manage several projects at once and meet deadlines.
- 06Good communication and teamwork skills.
