Role overview
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our engineering team. You will create accurate, detailed 2D drawings and 3D models in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, supporting product development and engineering projects.
Key responsibilities
- 01Create and modify 2D drawings in AutoCAD, accurately and with attention to detail.
- 02Develop 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- 03Interpret engineering specifications, sketches and design concepts.
- 04Work with the design and production teams to make sure designs can be manufactured.
- 05Maintain and update drawing files, standards and documentation.
- 06Support senior designers with design reviews, revisions and project deliverables.
Required skills & qualifications
- 01Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 020 to 2 years of relevant CAD design experience. Freshers with strong skills are encouraged to apply.
- 03Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, or similar 3D CAD software.
- 04A good understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances. GD&T is a plus.
- 05Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- 06The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 07Good communication and organisational skills.
